Q. How can you control the use of the platforms?
A. We recommend that a risk assessment is undertaken prior to the use of the Load Angel, to ascertain ground conditions and the method to be used by the operative to prevent misuse or unsafe practice prior to use.


Q. Can a harness or belt with a lanyard be used?

A. Yes, given the harness or belt is used as a restraint to prevent the operative from falling over the far edge of the trailer.


Q. Can a safety wire rope restraint be fitted to the platform?
A. Yes, wire rope restraints can be fitted (price upon application). Also harnesses, belts and lanyards can be supplied. All equipment is supplied with the relevant certification.


Q. What prevents the platforms from moving once they are placed against the vehicle?
A. The two castor wheels on the access side of the Load Angel have brakes fitted which must be locked before any work commences on the platform to prevent movement. If for any reason the brakes or wheels become damaged do not use the platform. These units are easily replaced. Please contact us as soon as possible.


Q. What kind of ground can the Site Safe Load Angels work on?

A. Site Safe Load Angels can be easily manouevred on rough or unmade ground, we do strongly advise that all wheels are in contact with the ground and brake wheels are locked before use.
